Experience
I enjoy almost any activity that involves building something. I love tutoring complex math subjects because I love breaking down problems into simple steps. It is a lot like solving a puzzle! It is really fun for me to share this process with students. I love uncovering the root of each student's needs so they can become confident in their skills and succeed in their goals. At the secondary level, I tutor a variety of subjects, including Algebra I, Algebra II/Trigonometry, AP Calculus (AB), Pre-Algebra, Geometry, and AP Physics I. I work with undergraduate students in Calculus I-IV, Algebra, Physics I, and Analytical Trigonometry. My favorite subjects to break down with students are Trigonometry and Algebra II. I have experience working with middle school to college-level students. I graduated with honors from Saint Joseph's college, earning my bachelor's degree in Mathematics with training in Secondary Education as well. During college, I worked as the lead tutor on campus. Aside from solving academic puzzles with students, I enjoy volleyball, hiking, playing tabletop board games with my family and friends, TV shows like "The Walking Dead," cartoons like "The Regular Show" and "Adventure Time," drawing, reading, painting, and making jewelry with beads.
